Pr. Yohannan Panicker has faithfully led Zion Assemblies of God South Florida as Church President, shepherding the congregation through years of spiritual growth, family ministry, and community outreach. His leadership is rooted in the strong Pentecostal tradition of the Kerala church — marked by fervent prayer, bold faith, and a deep reverence for the Word of God.
Born in Kerala, India, Pastor Panicker grew up in a community of believers where prayer and the Holy Spirit were not theological concepts but daily realities. He carried that foundation with him when he relocated to South Florida, where he became instrumental in establishing and growing the ZAG South congregation into the family it is today.
Ministry Philosophy
Pastor Panicker believes that a healthy church is built on three pillars: prayer, the Word, and love for one another. His pastoral approach is personal — he knows the families, remembers the children, and sits with the grieving. He leads not from a distance but from within the life of the congregation.
Family
Pastor Panicker is supported by his wife, Mariamma Panicker, who serves faithfully as Ladies Prayer Coordinator. Together they have raised their family within the ZAG South community and model the values of faith, hospitality, and servanthood.
