Pr. Jayamon Jacob serves as Vice President of Zion Assemblies of God South Florida, bringing spiritual maturity, administrative faithfulness, and a genuine love for people to his leadership role. His ministry has been a steady and encouraging presence within the congregation — building bridges, supporting families, and pointing people toward Christ.
Originally from Kerala, Pr. Jacob brings with him the rich heritage of Pentecostal faith that has shaped Kerala Christianity for generations. His migration to South Florida brought him into the ZAG South family, where he has served with integrity and commitment across multiple terms of leadership.
Role in the Church
As Vice President, Pr. Jacob partners with the Church President in pastoral oversight, deacon responsibilities, and administrative direction of the congregation. He is a bridge between the pastoral leadership and the church family — accessible, trustworthy, and consistent.
Family
Pr. Jacob is married to Elsamma Jacob, who serves the congregation faithfully as Food Coordinator — ensuring that hospitality and care are expressed in practical, tangible ways during church gatherings and events. Their children — Jamie, Jason, and Jisna — are part of the ZAG South family.
Ministry Passion
Pr. Jacob is especially passionate about family discipleship — the conviction that the home is the primary place of faith formation, and that the church exists to support and strengthen families in that calling. He believes in a church where every generation has a place, a voice, and a purpose.
